I'm Louise McKenna, originally from the Solway Coast in Cumbria, but Dorset has been my home for the past thirty years. Photography began as a way to document my travels worldwide, creating a visual record of the incredible places I’ve been fortunate enough to experience. Although I work full-time in children's palliative care, I make time to immerse myself in nature, capturing both the night sky and the landscapes around me. From the Milky Way sweeping across the Atacama Desert to a gentle sunset over Dorset’s rolling hills, my photos reflect a deep love for nature and the cosmos.

Recently, with encouragement from family, friends, and professionals, I’ve begun sharing my work trying to recover some of the costs and being able to offer others a glimpse into the beauty around us.
