Seascapes

I grew up on the Solway and have spent much of my life either onor near the sea. Seascapes embody the dynamic beauty of nature. Their ever-changing moods fascinate me; one moment it can be serene and glassy, the next, wild and turbulent. The weather plays a crucial role in shaping these scenes, transforming the atmosphere and the colors of the landscape. A stormy sky can create dramatic contrasts and add a sense of urgency to a photograph, while a calm sunset casts warm hues across the water, evoking tranquility.

Waves are particularly captivating; their rhythmic motion is both soothing and exhilarating. Each wave carries its unique energy, and I love how they can convey a sense of movement and life in my photos. The way light interacts with the water creates a stunning array of colors, from deep blues and greens to fiery oranges and pinks at sunset. I love those vibrant colours the sound of waves, the feel of the wind on my face, and thast gritty sand getting everywhere. In fact Im sure there is a market for an Atlantic exfoliating facial.
